Tackle everything from blemishes to discolouration with The Perfect Body Wash from Medica Forte.

This intensive cleanser is formulated with a strong concentration of Glycolic Acid to remove dead cells and debris from within the pores while gradually correcting areas of uneven tone and texture. Added antioxidants including Vitamin E and Glutathione detoxify the cells and minimise free radical damage while Aloe Vera and Niacinamide soothe and restore a youthful elasticity to the skin, preventing any post cleanse tightness or irritation.

Suitable for most skin types, except very sensitive skin, massage a small amount into damp skin on the body and rinse with warm water. Can be used every few days until the skin becomes acclimatised to the AHA content.

Massage a small amount into damp skin on the body during a bath or shower, work into a lather then rinse away.

Due to the Glycolic Acid content, you may experience a mild tingling sensation but this should subside relatively quickly. If not, stop using immediately.

Start using every few days to allow the skin time to acclimatise to the Glycolic Acid content before gradually increasing usage to every day depending on the skin’s tolerance.

Patch Test

If you are new to this product or any of its ingredients, we recommend completing a patch test first.

Use of Retinol

When using Retinol for the first time, it is important to allow the skin time to acclimatise to the active ingredient. Apply a small amount in the evening no more than twice a week, never on consecutive evenings, for at least two weeks. If the skin hasn’t suffered any extreme irritation or redness, start to increase the number of applications gradually over a period of weeks until you reach a number your skin is comfortable with. This could range from three nights to seven nights a week.

As Retinol can make the skin sensitive to sunlight, always apply a sunscreen to the skin every morning to prevent sun-induced inflammation and damage.
