The Reform Skincare Retinol 1% Crème offers intensive overnight rejuvenation for ageing and problematic complexions.

A strong concentration of 1% Retinol (included as pure Vitamin A that has been encapsulated within a natural sugar molecule to make it more stable) tackles fine lines, wrinkles, sun damage and uneven texture while antioxidant Vitamin E (1%) repairs free radical damage accumulated during the day. Added Cucumber, Chamomile and Aloe Vera soothe and calm the skin to minimise inflammation, restoring a youthful radiance and smoothness night after night.

Suitable for most skin types, apply to clean skin once or twice a week in the evening for a few weeks to allow skin to acclimatise to the Retinol content. Gradually increase usage depending on skins tolerance for best results.

Apply to 2-3 pumps to clean skin 1 or 2 evenings a week, with a few rest days in-between for a few weeks to allow skin to acclimatise to the Retinol content.

Gradually increase the frequency of use until you reach nightly for best results. When using a Retinol-based product, remember to apply a high factor sunscreen every morning to prevent sun damage.

If you are new to this product or any of its ingredients, we recommend completing a patch test first.

Use of Retinol

When using Retinol for the first time, it is important to allow the skin time to acclimatise to the active ingredient. Apply a small amount in the evening no more than twice a week, never on consecutive evenings, for at least two weeks. If the skin hasn’t suffered any extreme irritation or redness, start to increase the number of applications gradually over a period of weeks until you reach a number your skin is comfortable with. This could range from three nights to seven nights a week.

As Retinol can make the skin sensitive to sunlight, always apply a sunscreen to the skin every morning to prevent sun-induced inflammation and damage.
