Barrier Repair Complex - 50ml, helps strengthen sensitive skin.

Barrier Repair Complex - 50ml
  • Strengthens sensitive skin
  • Packed with vital barrier-repairing nutrients
  • Conditioning, silky texture
  • Great for dry, damaged skin

Without a strong epidermal barrier, the skin cannot function properly which is why the Elizabeth Arden PRO Barrier Repair Complex is such an important product.

Made with a blend of Ceramides, Cholesterol and Essential Fatty Acids, this silky emulsion rebuilds the gaps in the epidermal layer while helping to nourish and hydrate skin prone to moisture loss. Also present is the LCA Complex (consisting of Lactic Acid and antioxidants) which helps to revitalise dull, dry skin from the surface down to the lower layers, gradually improving the tone and texture of the skin with continued use.

Suitable for dry, damaged and mature skin types, apply a small amount to clean skin once or twice a day for best results.

Patch Test

If you are new to this product or any of its ingredients, we recommend completing a patch test first.

Use of Retinol

When using Retinol for the first time, it is important to allow the skin time to acclimatise to the active ingredient. Apply a small amount in the evening no more than twice a week, never on consecutive evenings, for at least two weeks. If the skin hasn’t suffered any extreme irritation or redness, start to increase the number of applications gradually over a period of weeks until you reach a number your skin is comfortable with. This could range from three nights to seven nights a week.

As Retinol can make the skin sensitive to sunlight, always apply a sunscreen to the skin every morning to prevent sun-induced inflammation and damage.

The Use of AHAs

Products containing acids can make the skin prone to dryness and sun damage, so introduce them into your routine gradually and remember to apply a sunscreen every morning to protect against UV rays.
