Introduce the skin to Retinol with the Serum 16 Rapid Renewal Serum from Cosmedix.

Powered by a 16% LG-Retinex Complex – a specialist blend of encapsulated Retinol, Retinaldehyde and Glycosaminoglycans designed for sensitive and dry skins – this impressive formula dramatically reduces the appearance of fine lines and uneven tone without irritating the skin by increasing cell renewal and collagen production. Added Vitamin E and Hyaluronic Acid keep the skin hydrated and nourished, leaving it feeling smoother, softer and looking more radiant over time.

Suitable for dry, sensitive and mature skin types, apply a small amount to cleansed skin in the evening every third night for around two weeks. After this time, increase the frequency of application until it is used nightly.

Apply one pump to cleansed skin in the evening, every third night for around two weeks. After this time, gradually increase usage depending on skin's tolerance until it is applied nightly.

Use of Retinol

When using Retinol for the first time, it is important to allow the skin time to acclimatise to the active ingredient. Apply a small amount in the evening no more than twice a week, never on consecutive evenings, for at least two weeks. If the skin hasn’t suffered any extreme irritation or redness, start to increase the number of applications gradually over a period of weeks until you reach a number your skin is comfortable with. This could range from three nights to seven nights a week.

As Retinol can make the skin sensitive to sunlight, always apply a sunscreen to the skin every morning to prevent sun-induced inflammation and damage.
